Children’s University Western Australia Partnership (CUWAP) is a successful recipient of a 2022 ‘Inspiring WA STEM’ grant.
The awarded grant will fund a STEM Out of the Box initiative, which will provide regional Children University partner schools with STEM kits filled with three hands-on activities to explore at home. Families will also be invited to participate in a workshop via Zoom, presented by the Children’s University WA Partnership.
Grant applications were open to organisations wishing to host a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) event, engaging regional and remote communities across Western Australia in 2022. Funding was awarded to applicants that presented novel and innovative ideas that created future STEM engagement opportunities. The aim of this CUWAP initiative is to ignite a passion and curiosity for STEM beyond the classroom and into the broader community.
