Children’s University Australasia (CUA) offers a Passport to Volunteering for 15 – 18 year olds which is a great way for older students to still be involved in CUA. Volunteers are involved in running clubs at schools, assisting with CUA graduations and providing positive role models for younger children.
Volunteering hours are recorded in a Passport to Volunteering in which hours are accrued in the same format as the Passport to Learning. Volunteers will also graduate and be rewarded for their contributions to the CUA program through the award of certificates held at formal ceremonies.
To make it even better, if you are a SACE student you can gain between 10 and 20 credits as a part of a Self-Directed Community Learning Program just for volunteering on fun and rewarding activities.
